We were strolling along from Westminster to Downing street and walked into two beautiful horses. I immediately realized we stumbled onto something when I saw the guards. I was lucky enough to be able to experience an uninterrupeted view of Trooping The Colour from this building. Internally, you get a feel of how important these buildings have been.
This building is beautiful and the parade ground so big you can't imagine until you see it for yourself. We walked through and watch the changing of the Royal Horse Guards which happens each day and we then walked back through the arch and visited the museum which is to the left of the archway. An interesting change from the typical building style found in Westminster and a nice route to St James’s Park after seeing the sites around Whitehall; although there is much not to see.
