If you visit Liverpool you have to visit the Philharmonic pub. As a drinking house it is legendary. The building is awesome. Everyone visits the gents toilets - wome included but I wish they didnt smell so much. When you visit walk all round the place - go into every room all are worth visiting and studying. Great proper pub.
This pub is undoubtedly a stunning building and a great atmosphere. I have to come here with work around once a month for food, and it always manages to disappoint. The food is, at best, the quality of wetherspoons for more money, and I have never had all of our food served without an issue, such as forgetting side dishes,... 更多
What a fantastic building!!!! Sheer elegance & outstanding decor. Dropped in for an early breakfast - straight after 10am, Breakfast was normal Nicholsons fayre, well presented & reasonably priced. But it's worth going there just for the building.

From outside it is a wonderful building to look at but inside it really is a feast for the eyes especially in the main dining room and don't overlook the Gents with some fantastic tiling. The selection of beers is large and those that I sampled were very good. Food was also good. If you are... 更多
Well worth a visit if in lovely Liverpool! Beautiful old pub with great selection of beers. Don't forget to pop into the loos! Food served....looked good!
This iconic pub is really worth a visit, the amazing lavish interior (complete with marble urinals!) is astonishing. There's a choice of real ales, I had a St Austell 'Nicholsons' brewed for the chain which was fine. Our visit was marred by a very poor lunch, my wife's steak frites was probably the worst pub meal she'd ever had, my... 更多
I spent a lovely afternoon with friends for a leaving get together on Saturday afternoon. It has been donkeys years since I have stepped foot in the Phil. The building is fantastic and the staff were very pleasant. A group of us went up to the dining rooms upstairs. The girl that served us was very friendly and helpful. she... 更多
