Brisk cold winter's day walk around Calderstones Park on the way to a wider walk around the area. Never been here before and it was a bit of a find. Lovely park feel to it, plenty of space but lots of interest and not just open expanses of grass. Nice playground, picturesque lake too. Worth a visit.
Worth a visit and I recommend the 'cafe' which is a reading room with lovely coffee and cakes on sale. The children's play area is popular and the sensory garden beautiful.
Fantastic park. Well kept, wonderful facilities, great walks and tremendous little cafe. The south of Liverpool's premier park. Wonderful children's park and a great place to walk your dog with hundreds of like minded dog lovers. A must visit
This is a beautiful Park. Large expanses of green interwoven with gorgeous green waves of trees. A popular park for both locals and visitors. Whether it is summer or winter, it is a great place for walk and a think. Plenty of room for everyone.
Excellent park to walk through and while away a few hours. Lovely walled garden with many different varieties of plants. Visit the old 1000 year old oak, house and the stones.
