I have been here many times, the last autumn there was a fete there and many different stalls with food available, it was expensive but very good.
We were invited to ring the bells to support the Conservation Area Society. The Church was decorated with displays for Easter. Good to see people looking to keep this Church in use for events in the future.
took the grandchildren for a wander round the house and garden. we all enjoyed it very much, I did read up about the house so told them stories in each room to either scare them or just to give them info of the era that the house represents. we had a few ooos and wows it was very good.

We spent an afternoon here. There was a variety of snacks and drinks for sale. There was access to all rooms with a brief historical description also a video to view. The gardens are well kept and interesting.
If you like looking around old houses then this is a must for you to visit, located a couple of miles from the town centre there is lots to look at and the gardens are pleasant

The result is the reveal of the interior in all its architectural glory and a real chance to soak up the feel of the space. With a little imagination... 更多
