Went to have a Sunday morning stroll down the pier and was able to go through the amusements but then as soon as we got onto the pier a man came over and told us it was closed as was wet!!! Unbelievable but true.
It is a timebomb waiting to injure or kill somebody. How did the council give the arcade, a clean bill of health. Where do i start, cables hanging loose from the cieling, carpet ripped, cieling tiles falling down, holes in the cieling and yes the worst one, electrical sockets next to young childrens rides..just to improve matters, the same sockets... 更多
The pier definitely needs an update, rotting seats and rust everywhere. Such a pity, as it used to be lovely in its day. I can remember how nice it used to be to walk along to the theatre, but the place looks tired and unloved. Come on Blackpool, cheer this pier up!!
We had a nice walk along the pier but unfortunately we was a long bit disappointed in how run down and abandoned it would be such a lovely place with a link of paint to brighten it up also the coffee chop on the pier was not up to much the staff were less than friendly just seem to mess... 更多
A rotting moldy pier. Slowly corroding away and no one cares. I'm suprise health and safety haven't shut this pier down. Moss growing on the once magestic seats looking across great views of Blackpool now a shameful gross sight. There is no where to sit and the planks of wood that are below your feet look as if they are... 更多
there is something quite nice about visiting this pier on a quiet October evening. we were the only ones on the pier and I felt really nostalgic! I hope I get proposed to on the end of that pier one day!
