This is a beautiful part of Lancashire - in an area of outstanding beauty. Lovely properties and lovely places to take your dog for a walk - I live in Langho in the Ribble Valley so I am slightly biased!
Wherever you are in the Ribble Valley the views are amazing. Whatever the weather it can be appreciated. Escape the rat race and enjoy the pure air and the scenery and stretch your legs, the best way to take it all in is by taking a walk through the wonderful countryside and riverside walks.
Came to Clitheroe especially to walk through the sculpture park. First of all, it is hard to find - no signposts from the roads. The park itself is pretty - nice woodland and a pleasant park garden. The Ribble Valley is stunning. Beautiful views, great walking, fantastic towns. I live in the Valley and wouldn't live anywhere else. We are close to the Bowland and Gisburn Forests,Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The whole of the country is accessible as we have access to the motorway system and railways.
