Love this place. Beautiful beach and short walk to the Royal Harbour via the bars, cafes, vintage shops and galleries tucked in the arches along Military Parade. Lesser known hideaway on the western seafront in Ramsgate, providing views towards Pegwell & Sandwich nature reserve. Relatively quiet in the summer too.
Quiet, popular with fishermen and dog walkers. Small sandy shelf when tide is out. No public toilets until you reach cliff top up a steep winding path. Spoils the visit if you plan to stay for the day.
Tucked away the other side of the harbour. West cliff side. You can park up the top and walk down the steps or slope, car access can be taken by driving through a tunnel , this can be found on the main Canterbury road. The café has not been open on the beach and toilets are not open. A great... 更多
There used to be a cafe down on this beach which unfortunately had to close, this made it de-appreciate a bit. Beautiful view over looking sandwich and the more southern areas of Kent but not alot in terms of accomodating you... 更多
love this beach, it does not get busy like the main beach, when tide goes out there are rocks to walk over and discover sea life in rock pools, fantasic for kids, is a cafe not open last week, could be open now as getting into holiday season, theres toilets next to cafe, unsure if they are open
Had over a mile walk here with my mum. The sea was in, there were a few fisherman and it was blastery cold but a lovely walk all the same. Parking metres nearby before you start your walk Great views, only other walkers with dogs. Bins for rubbish or poop. Some graffitti however.
