great views of the areas from Hayling island to Southampton on a clear day, lots of open space for picnics, plenty of burger vans for food and drinks, picnic areas on grass, wort stopping to see the views
Not such a regular visitor to Portsmouth now, but whenever I can, I stop at the top of the hill, to stretch my legs as it's a great place to stroll for a while. Fantastic views across the Solent & City. Brings back good memories. Just love it when it's windy!
A bit of a trek from the Southsea area, but a wonderful place all the same to get great views of the city by day and night. Worth a visit. (Also, riding down the hill on a bike is great fun).
A beautiful place to visit and such great views across the Solent and of Portsmouth,Hayling Island & beyond. On a clear day you can see for miles the view is breathtaking Great for dog walking and plenty of fast food vendors and ice cream cans too
