The Montpellier district has shops and restaurants, many of which are chains however there is no denying that it is an amazing district of Cheltenham to explore. Much of the architecture is like a time warp to a grander Britain and could easily be mistaken for some of London's treasured areas.
What a place to go shopping in Cheltenham away from the town centre. So many lovely shops and cafes..great to walk around, relax, and browse at the choice! It's really a secret village all on its own!
It is an attractive part of town with a fine selection of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. It has spacious gardens and is the ideal place for a relaxing stroll. As it was cold and windy it was not fully appreciated but can imagine it would be lovely in good weather. Quaint shops. It is a shame the domed montpellier building is now a Lloyd's bank. Popped in there and couldn't believe the acoustics.
