Stanmer Park is my favourite walking area. The main house has open fires, open for breakfast, lunch and supper, has a bar too so perfect to crash there after a long walk through the fields and woods. Stanmer Village is sweet and tiny with a small village cafe to relax in too. In the autumn the press their own apple... 更多
A wonderful place for a picnic, a stroll or a pedal through the woods. The woods are a lot more extensive than you might think and surround the village on all sides. Check out the maps online. There is a decent cafe in the village and Stanmer House has a restaurant which has received variable reviews. The only reason I... 更多
Stanmer Park is another one of our favourite walks. Lots of woodlands as well as open spaces. easy to get to and there is also a great place for tea or lunch.dog friendly too.

Stanmer Park is an absolute gem, with numberous downland and woodland walks, stretching miles, idyllic village with cafe and the old manor house restored to a restaurant and place to chill out with a coffee.
A beautiful manor house, peaceful surroundings, plenty of great walks to go on. Great for a Sunday. Stretch your legs, get some fresh air and stop off for a roast/pint. Also, surprisingly accessible - 20 mins walk from Falmer station. Worth a visit!
With it's fair share of woodland, open meadows and rolling hills, the park hosts a mixture of terrain suitable for all ages. The village embedded in its centre is also well worth the walk, where the tea room can be used as a pit stop!
Walk around the park and village and enjoy it it is a beautiful place for me to walk to from where I live
