preston park and the manor are well worth the visit .opposite the manor is the public house which used to be the inn where the stage coach would stop on its way to Brighton from London .and in the park there is still the old cycle track where a famous reg harris used to train and also in the park...
Nice spacious areas, lots of room for the kids to play and it has a great play area too. The new parking charges are a joke but understand why it had to be put in place. It can be very busy but it is very central so not surprising.
Loads of space and a lovely hidden walled garden in the corner. Public toilets and a little cafe in the middle are convenient. Flower beds are very well kept. Never too busy. Feels quite safe apart from at night as there are no lights.
This park is well worth a visit as it gives another perspective on the city of Brighton and Hove. It's location at the North of the city means you can visit it without having to go through the City with ample parking and a nice cafe in the middle.
A great place for doing whatever you want. Walking the dog (make sure you pick up the poop)! A kick about with the lads or just a stroll with the misses. nice cafe in the middle run by ex BHAFC centre back Andy Rollings.
