Harry’s Rocks are a white limestone formation off the coast. After a couple of tries I found the car park and then had a walk of a couple of kilometres through the fields to the sight that made the walk worthwhile. Back near the car park I spied a pub and grabbed a salad and a beer and ate it... 更多
This is such a lovely day out for all the family if you like to walk and be by the sea. Old Harry's Rock is accessible via road past Swanage or ferry from Poole. If you take the ferry from Poole you have to pay both ways but you could do the ferry one way and then return by road... 更多
We walked from Swanage which is a lovely seaside town. Parking is £3.20 for the day along the seafront. We walked up the Sturidge footpath and turned right to walk along the top of the downs. It looks like a fantastic paragliding spot, as there were six on a sunny day. It's a very easy walk if you can do... 更多
This walk can be done in different ways, short or long. The longer one is a circular walk, anti clockwise,to get the best views. Park next to pub in the village and walk past the sign to Old Harry round to the right . The path goes up a steep hill, but the view from the top is worth the... 更多
We parked in a National Trust car park by the Pig On The Beach pub. The walk to Old Harry's Rocks is about 30 minutes from there with good views of the sea and the rocks as you walk towards them. There's 2 pubs on the way also to add to your trip with views in the pub gardens over... 更多
Visited with my wife, two teenage children and two dogs. Very easy to find the car park and at a cost of £4 for the day is great value for money. You can even use the ticket at the other car parks. Takes about 20 mins to walk to Harry's Rock down and up a steep hill. Once you get... 更多
I have visited Harry Ramsdens in several different towns, but this one in Swanage is definitely one to avoid. The town is crying out for a good restaurant, so it is really a great shame that this one is so bad. You would do better to go around the corner to the fish and chip shop on the sea front
Our friends took us here for the first time recently - been to Swanage before but not this bit! Lovely walk along the coast and brilliant when you get to the rocks - dont walk out to the end if you're scared of cliff edges and narrow paths !!! Was so good - look forward to going back again!
