I went to Plymbriidge Woods with my daughter so we could cycle along a flat trail on a hot day. It was the perfect spot and we spent wan enjoyable hour following the old railway route. The spot was used by young families and solo cyclists and obviously appealed to all. The path beside the stream was also quite delightful... 更多
Whatever the season it has something to offer, bluebells in the spring, wild garlic, the cool waters of the Plym in the summer, fungus hunting in the autumn and children's activities and dog walking all year round. What more could you want?
There is a convenient car park under the bridge. We headed Plymouthbound on the footpath, then ventured into the woodland as long as we could go. On the way back we opted for the fields and stopped off at the riverbank. We saw the train going then coming, and the dog had a brilliant run.
I love Plymbridge woods. It is near to us and we often visit on a nice sunny day. There is parking, or easy access from the park and ride at Coypool. The paths are shared bu cyclists so you do need to be aware as they very rarely use their bells. You can get icecream and coffee but no public... 更多

Enjoyed a very wet, long walk in this beautiful area. Very quiet once you get away from the car park. Lovely to spot a kingfisher. Would love to live nearer this wonderful place.
As a family we love going for walks here and are constantly finding new paths to explore. I love being able to walk by the river and hear the soothing sound of water or discovering hidden ruins along our way. Great for cycling, walking the dog or wearing out the kids.
Spent a beautiful Sunday here. Walked with children aged two to seven. The walk is easy to manage and plenty to see along the way. The children paddled in the water before we walked back. Would recommend this to families with children of all ages. Absolutely stunning.
