If you've got to go, this is as good a place to rest you head, shame you wouldn't see the fabulous views! great to wander around and read some of the wonderful headstone.
Located at the top of Barnoon Hill this old cemetery has some head stones dating back to the mid 18th Century. Some detail the marine history of St. Ives by " lost at sea" and "a maritimer ". The graveyard itself is like many in the UK, not well maintained. Beautiful view of Porthmeor Beach.
on a fairly steep hill this graveyard has some amazing views. The two connected little churches are generally closed but you can walk around everywhere - it is right next to probably the best beach and a car park in St Ives so you are likely to pass it.

I... 更多

Our car park was directly above this and it is by the new Tate so hard not to go through or past but it is in essence Boot Hill so not sure what you do in a cemetery, chant maybe
For those staying in this area above St. Ives, the cemetery provides an interesting route down to town and, in the views of many residents and visitors alike, the best way to walk back up the hill. The route offers superb views of Porthmeor Beach, a popular surfing beach, St. Ives Head and a portion of the town. The cemetery... 更多
