this place is probably the nicest beach I've been to in the UK, parking is really limited and its a huge hill to walk back up but it is absolutely worth the walk, the water was clear the sand was clean and the view is amazing
We visited on a beautiful sunny day and it is breathtaking. Blue water, golden sands so pretty. This is one of the best places to visit in Cornwall.
We spent a couple of hours here just sunbathing and playing frisbee. The water was calm enough to swim but probably a little cold, we didn't go in the water as we had been body boarding at Porthmeor beach. Well worth a visit to this lovely little bay though, a sun trap with soft sand.
I think Carbis Bay had to overall be our favourite beach in St Ives. It's quiet, with beautiful sand and the sea is fairly quiet so great for younger children. The rocks are covered (and I mean literally covered!) in mussels and limpets, and some interesting rock formations make this a fun beach to explore!
Beautiful place, golden sandy beach, crystal clear water, seals swimming along side you, when you kayak and paddle board, great for swimming and surfing depending on the tides etc, great for children, lovely cafe, toilet facilities, visit regularly, can be a bit expensive and not dog friendly in the main season, but great to visit out of season with the dogs,
Came here with the intention of SUP lesson but was a bit sleepy so swam and relaxed. The water sports facilities are good. It is a lovely sandy beach around a pretty bay. Lots of development at one section to build additional accommodation. The beach was quiet when we visited but schools had not broken up. Nice little cafe on... 更多
Best beach in my opinion. Just watch the seagulls. Restaurant is pricey but well worth it. Parking can get tight so get there early easy to spend a whole day there.
This must be one of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall,a 25 minute walk from St Ives and well worth the walk. The water is crystal clear and the beach is very clean,it reminds me of the Caribbean. It certainly gets the sun and is very sheltered due to the cliffs surrounding the bay also a excellent beach cafe.
