We popped in as it was drizzling and I was curious to know more about Looe. The staff were lovely and quite enthusiastic about the museum which is run by volunteers. Visited Polperro and Looe on Monday and tried both museums on offer. Overall I preferred the Polperro museum. This one is OK but not brilliant. Lots of steps to negotiate so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Could be organised better
Looe is a lovely place to come and visit. It was my first visit here. The Museum was fantastic, the area is rich in history and stories of old. There was even talk about ghosts. This place is small but it's absolutely packed with history about Looe and the surrounding area. Loved reading about the past and seeing lots of pictures too.
