We eagerly look forward to going here every spring. First run movies with digital . The new digital set up makes for an awesome picture. Owners are very welcoming!
Ive been to several drive-ins in Ontario (Huntsville, The 5, Guelph, Docks, 400(closed), Port Hope, Lindsay) but this one is the most unique. Its laid back and the host is funny. Definite hippy vibes here. Its run down - the play area isnt Canadas Wonderland thats for sure but it just adds to the charm. It has more grass cover... 更多
In the late 60's, as teenagers, weekends were spent at the drive-in in Peterborough. Sadly it's not there anymore. It's now a subdivision. But now each summer I take my grandchildren to the Mustang at least once each summer. This brings back memories and at the same time continues a new tradition for my two teenage grands. It is so... 更多
We've been coming here for years ... it's one of the last intact Drive-Ins in the province. Not much has been changed in decades ... it will definitely take you back! We came here for kids' movies when our kids were small, all-nighter action movies when they were teenagers, and now we finally get to go on a date and... 更多
Staying at Sand Banks for the weekend? Check out Mustang Drive In in Picton. http://www.thechequesinthemail.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=36 It's a good time! We went on the weekend- you should arrive around 7:45pm in order to get in line for the 8pm opening. Great rates by the individual not carload. Two screens and they let you switch at half time if you want to.... 更多
Back to my teenage years. It was great fun. The box office is an old bus. Cheap way to go to the movies. Sound was great. Love the seasoned viewers with their rolls of screen and duct tape to keep the mosquitoes away. Would go back any time.
What a great way to spend a family evening! Yes, it's a little past its best, but that's part of the charm. Loads of local families on the night we were there with the kids 'camping out' with duvets chairs and mattresses. The site has a kids playground and also somewhere to get food. Films start at sundown. Loved it!
We make it to here to see some movies a few times each season. The prices (per person) are a bit steep for what you get - but the Thursday 'Car Load' night is great value for the money, even if you just take in one of the films. Despite the 'old feel' to the infrastructure possibly lending some 'quant'... 更多
This a piece of history that you will love to share with friends and family. It is somewhere that you can take your boyfriend/girlfriend on a date (if her father says it is okay) or your wife/husband of 30 years. We have done both and took a lot of kids and friends in between those years. Paul has made his... 更多
