We were in town over a weekend for soccer provincials. The two turf pitches on which our team played were very nice. The only drawback was the lack of shelter for spectators, a seemingly glaring oversight given the year-round monsoon conditions in the Vancouver area. Vehicle access to and from the pitches was fine. Parking was awful. The tournament organizers... 更多
This very large park offers much to the community for both the active participant to the passive observer. There are sports field and tennis courts, skateboard parks and even a par 3 golf course. For the walkers there is the one km sea wall and a variety of small paths that meander the park. There are picnic areas and flat... 更多
Great variety of birds frequent the pond at the east end of the park (before the dog walk off leash area). Note the signs directing not to feed the wild birds - there is a reason for the signage and it needs to be respected for the health of the birds. (please and thank you)
We enjoyed a perfect Spring afternoon walk at this park yesterday. The beach is wide and clean, the views are fantastic, and the boat action is fun to watch -- even kayakers were out on such a lovely day on April 1st! We watched guys catching crabs on the wharf and chatted with visitors enjoying the ducks and swans on... 更多

Beachfront location with great views of the Lions Gate Bridge, Prospect Point in Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver . I stop there whenever I am in the area. During business hours for... 更多
This lovely long beach has an off leash area at the end, where the dogs can run into the water, race along the path, dash through some open meadow and sun around bushes. There are often herons in some of the trees! This is a family favourite and we go several times a week with our dog.
when you want a big picnic area, this is it, for up to 80. We've had many over the years. Kids have lots of room to roam and adults can play along with their friends and family
enjoy your walk here free of skateboarders and bicyclists.. as it is a termor away from being WIPED OUT by a tsunami of epic proportions.... or just the chinese taking over the entire neighborhood. Which is happening. and plenty of good people amongst them! But also plenty of land bankers who overspend and overinflate real estate in this pristine part... 更多
