Love Fernie and it's rich history! The young man working there was very knowledgable and engaging. My favourite part was learning about Tom Uphill and my daughter loved the tunnel.
This museum is informative friendly and impressive. The lower floor has a large collection of items photographs and information to really give you an understanding of the history and struggles this tough northern town has endured.

This lovely museum hosts an informative year-round exhibit showcasing Fernie, as well as rotating exhibitions featuring different themes. Last year, my friends and I really enjoyed attending the Speakeasy party put on by the museum. It was so much fun and very creative.

Passed through on a business trip and popped in to see the museum. Very small but very helpful on the history of the town.
Excellent historical photos and artifacts from mining, forestry and home-making from over a century ago. Kid-friendly hands-on exhibit area. Main floor is very good. Upstairs a little boring.
