A gem, right on the edge of Magog, an easy drive or bike. Many paths through the wood and across the marais, with birds and other wildlife at hand. The Marais only asks for a donation on your visit, and its support is all volunteer, but clearly a gem at any time of the year.
This use to be an old dumping ground for garbage that got cleaned up and now serve as a refuge for wild-life. The trail are pretty easy to walk and you can actually go all the way to downtown Magog. The access is free but donations are recommended.

We had a great time walking different trails in "Marais de la riviere aux cerises". If you like to walk in nature, this is a wonderful place to do it.
A nice place to walk on a hot day. The first part which is the one we did was mainly in the shade of big trees. All along the path you have "Marais" pools of water filled with natural water plants where frogs and other water creatures live. We saw many good birds that nest here on our late-May visit. We hiked both sides of the Marais, and enjoyed a picnic at the beautiful Interpretive Center. Kayaking looked very appealing, too.
