This was a nicely organized museum that included Native First Nation art and history, history of the logging industry in the area, a display on invasive species of plants and animals and much more. There was a First Nation presentation with many masks, and a video are where you could choose the video that you wanted to see.
The museum is well laid out, flowing from one exhibit to another. It tells local and BC history. The most powerful exhibit was the First Nations one telling the history of how disease killed 90 per cent of the People there. It was powerful and impactful. I'll never forget it. Definitely worth the time to visit, well organized, lots of excellent displays, and a fascinating look at BC First Nations and the development of this area. Highly recommended.

This museum highlights the early logging and fishing days with exhibits; also a lot of native culture, with hand made carvings and jewellry. There is also a small theatre, and a gift shop.
We had a very nice couple of hours in this great little museum. It was really interesting to see how Campbell River developed in the early years.
