Beautiful family friendly beach. When the tide is out the white sand beach is awesome for playing, swimming and building castles. The green woodsy and private campsites are walking distance away. Playgrounds, washrooms, and fire pits are just a few of the extra amenities.
This was my first time in British Columbia. We had a wonderfully private lot with considerate neighbours for our three days. Staff at the gate and shop were very nice. The shower and bathroom facilities with running water weren't filthy but they weren't exactly clean either. We liked using the latrines more -- they were super clean. The only real... 更多
We had a lovely walk along the beach and through the woods. There is a great chart that tells you which mountains you are looking at. I camped here years ago and the walk brought back many good memories.
you can check the tides online and head down here when the tide is out (or going out) because this beach is really fantastic when the tide is out and the sand is revealed! Play in the sun go for a swim and enjoy this beach - its really good (and busy!) - we go at least a few times... 更多
Only briefly stopped at this location on the way back from Elk Falls in Campbell River. The location is fabulous. The views are incredible and the see like a pond! What more could you ask for? I wanted to dive straight in to cool off. The beach is only a short walk from the main car park through a wooded... 更多
Miracle Beach Provincial Park is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The campsites are fairly private and well maintained. The best times to visit is during low tide when the sandy beach expands forever or in the fall when the coho are returning. Whether you visit the park for a walk, or for a camping holiday, it is... 更多
Nice long sandy beach. Great to relax on or build sandcastles. Water stays shallow forever so very safe for kids and a fun time for all!
Camping in the off season is the way to go, you can here the birds and absolutely nothing at night, its great! Half the campsite is closed in the offseason. Don't be fooled by the reservation signs on the posts, if it's offseason and no one is there, you have 2 days to camp unless the warden comes by and... 更多
Last year was our first trip to this location. We had heard about it, but never been. We enjoyed the spacious, clean campground very much. It was only a short trip into town for any sundry needs. The trails and facility were very nice. the nature house down at the beach was informative, clean, well-organized. The evening offerings of educational... 更多
