It's a nice place to stop and stretch your legs and go for a short walk but it's not spectacular. The board walk is nice and makes it a really easy, no effort walk but I thought the trees would be bigger.
Nice spot to stop for a quick stroll, right off the highway, would be great to take the kids out. Not wheelchair friendly, and park passes are required, but they have to be picked up elsewhere. Takes about half an hour. Very scenic, interesting to see the giant cedars, and the boardwalk is pretty impressive, all the walkways and stairs....
Take 15 minutes to stop and see this incredible site! Just off of the highway with washrooms and picnic tables is where the boardwalk starts. It is only 0.5km long but you will want to stop and revel in the forests beauty! The cedar trees and streams provide a relaxing pit stop in a days travel. Highlight of our day!
Great walk with gorgeous cedars surrounding you. Lots of stairs up and down so if mobility issues might be hard, however in general a pretty simple "hike"
Slippery if raining as walk is a boardwalk. Usually pretty busy but nice views.
