This museum, set in an attractive well kept surroundings, has an original set of log pioneer buildings. Went to a gathering of Genealogists and some instruction of how to's. Received Strawberry plants as I was the great granddaughter of one of the pioneers of the area. Awesome place to visit and learn about the history of Terrace and surrounding areas.
One of the things I always do with younger children. The guides working at the park are knowledgeable and cater to your interests. There are many cabins to explore and a garden to walk in. The staff very very knowledgeable on the history of Terrace and the North. Just brings a person back in time and just how they struggle back than.
This is a small collection of interesting pioneer era buildings in Terrace BC. Hours are limited so check first. Occasionally the site of special events it is definitely worth a look. I recommend going with one of the staff as a guide if possible.
