One of the most beautiful places in Nova Scotia.Has everything to spend a day there.Swimming pool, play ground with wadding. Pool, walking trails, biking trails, beautiful scenery, two falls, picnic areas, music in the summer on Sunday's.Something for everyone.
This gem is a lovely place to hike and mountain bike. Lots of trails, beautiful vistas, some thigh burning climbing. One of my very favorite places in Nova Scotia.
My first visit (but definitely not my last). Beautiful fall day, so the temperature and scenery was amazing! Paths are very well marked, and there was signage to the park also.
A very picturesque park area, through real dense forests, natural water falls, nice trails. With very nice fall colours the whole place looked so very beautiful.. The trails were not very difficult but were very well maintained.. Nice play area for children with restrooms and picnic benches throughout the area. There was enough area for parking and was free.
Should be on all itineraries whilst visiting Truro. Take your time and enjoy the serenity of the park
My friends and I did not have a chance to stay too long, but we did walk some of the trails and really enjoyed our short time there. So nice to have it so close to the center of the city.
great day trip from Halifax, wear some swim shorts and hit the little water holes at the base of some of the waterfalls for a nice refreshing cool down!
This is a beautiful area for a hike, walk or bike. We like to travel around the reservoir all year round, snow shoes required in the winter. Lots of fun.
