great for dog walking, sun loving, shade seeking, cross country skiing, biking The uneven terrain makes this park so interesting. We found a creek, sat in the afternoon sun, enjoyed the pavilion, watched kids on bikes. At Christmas time, they put on a light show at night, very fun to take the kids to. Simply a pleasure.
What a pleasant surprise. We were in Waterloo for a conference, staying at the Delta on Erb Street West. Taking about 20 minutes, I walked... 更多

Waterloo Park really does have a little but of everything, enough to keep little ones entertained for hours without being bored. From the zoo, playground right down to the boardwalk that takes you into uptown Waterloo. Lots of public washrooms and the splash pad in the summer months.
This is a great place for a walk or to catch up with friends. There is a food stand and they often host events (i.e. movie screenings). The park is very clean, although there tend to be a lot of geese and ducks.

They have a couple different play structures for kids, trails to follow and see the animals like peacocks, goats, donkey, lamas, miniature horses, pigs. There is a nice board walk around the water and gazebos to sit and... 更多
