This is really quite a tranquil spot. There are many cafes dotted around the Lake, and they offer very nice vantage points to rest and watch the sun go down. Towards sunset birds can be seen - an ornithologists delight and a photographers challenge. The kingfisher resplendent in it metallic blue feathers reminds of the poem by W H Davies...
Kayaking here is must try especially if you`re going as a couple. The staff are not that attentive but they made sure we were secured during our trip. Visited the place during weekdays so we were the only once on the lake and watching the birds and the scenery is fantastic. 4 stars.
Very picturesque, lovely place to visit. There are boat rides available, although probably not recommended during summer time as the heat is untenable. New restaurant beside the lake is a must-visit, the view during lunch time is unbeatable.
