Very Busy water front with many stores and restaurants to choose from, not to mention the Some fantastic views. Make sure to pick up a guide and walk around the water front. There is a great history to see here. During the day the view of Table Mountain is great. There is a nice market to pick up souvenirs. Definitely... 更多
This was the last part of our tour, and it ended on a high. The water front is amazing. A bit upscale and high end shops, mostly quite expensive. But apart from that, the area is real fun. You can spend hours sitting and just watching the boats and people. Do not miss a cruise out to the open sea.... 更多
The overall visit to the V & A was super. The choices of food is extensive, shopping great , entertainment is fun. There is something for all ages happening all the time. With the aquarium or red bus tour nearby it's linked well. traffic becoming a problem to get in or out at some times.
Not really my cup of tea, but it is another fancy/upscale part of cape town. Very pretty down there with expensive shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of boats you can go out on tours on from there.

Part of its interest is that it is stll a working harbour with inshore and oceanic fishing vessels, the tug boat centre and slipways and repair docks as well as the marina. There are still masses of attractions, the... 更多
We're not much for shopping, but this place is a bit different. Unique vendor stalls, and an entire renovated industrial building filled with delicious food/snacks. Definitely worth the trip. We actually even went back for some more good food, but were sorry to see that some of the food attractions closed at 5PM. The bigger restaurants were all open much... 更多
Yes the waterfront is touristy but it is also so lovely. My husband and I enjoyed strolling along, enjoying the sunshine, and stopping in on many of the cafes and restaurants for something to eat or drink. The shopping inside was excellent and the parking was very cheap.
The V & A Waterfront has a plethora of restaurants, shops, museums, & street entertainment. We easily spent 4 hours just wandering, eating, & enjoying the beauty of the waterfront. Not to be missed on your visit to Cape Town!
We stayed near the V&A waterfront in Cape Town and discovered that it was the perfect location for drinks, shopping, etc. There were plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as a large mall. The ferries to Robben Island also leave from the V&A waterfront. This is definitely a nice spot for a stroll if you’re... 更多
