When in the Ciechanow area of Poland, a stop at the castle, dating back to the 14th century, is worth the time. The castle is within easy walking distance of the center of the city and there is plenty of parking available.
Nice, renovated castle.
As I was said, not very popular among locals, although they really try to activate local community.
Partly interactive with many additional displays.
Not for toddlers (too many high stairs), but should be more interesting for a little bit older children.
Economic entry fee.
This castle is full of history, especially WWII. Read up on in before you go. There is a fun interactive area and for young kids and adults, there are some fun games and their is a screen to send emails to place you in the castle. Climb the tower.
