We often pass the turning so decided to have a look on the way back from Weymouth. The parking for us was only £2.00 as it was after 4 pm but I wouldn't consider a £5.00 charge too expensive for a days or afternoon parking there. If you walk along the track which runs by the beach there are a... 更多
As I have said in my previous review it is best to park on the open National Trust land that overlooks the village and the bay.It is a long walk down but not as expensive as taking the car down to the car park ,as the sign says you are expected to pay £5 just to drive down the road... 更多
This beach is a little out of the way, between Weymouth and Lulworth. If you wish to be "Far from the Madding Crowd" this is the beach for you. The car park is £5 for an all day ticket and I would recommend making it a whole day, not just to get value for money but to explore the beach,... 更多
we walked here from our campsite at Osmington. It took about 40 mins walking at a casual pace with our daughters (7&9). Lovely cliff walk with great views and lots of nature spotting. Ringstead beach is stony, so remember your water shoes or flip flops if you want to paddle! The water was so still and as it was overcast... 更多
We came upon this beach via a "National Trust" leaflet and looked forward to a pleasant day at a mixed sand and pebble beach. As we turned onto the road leading down to the beach we had a stunning view, the road went down hill as did the venue. We were surprised to have to pay £5 for the car... 更多
Ringstead Bay is a quiet hidden beach. There is a charge for the carpark (£5). The carpark is owned by the natural trust so I presume members can park free. It's £2 out of peak season or later on in the afternoon. The beach is a shingle beach with some sand. It's perfect for swimming and kayaking. Dogs are welcome... 更多
Lovely English beach. Fab views, so relaxing. £5 to park. Cafe close by. £9.70 for one coffee and fish, chios and peas. The fish wasn't fresh, it was probably frozen from a shop. Anyway, had a lovely dad chilling. Take a deckchair as the pepples are certainly not comfortable to sit on.
A tranquil pebble beach. Great for dogs and rock pooling. Cafe is also nice with great drinks and snacks. Tip: If your sat nav leads you to the national trust car park which will make you walk down a rather long, steep walk down to the beach which isn't bad but if you don't fancy the walk then about half... 更多
