We love Pinel Island and the ferry (small boat that holds about 30 people) runs every 1/2 hour. The water is calm in the bay but can get a little rough if you snorkel around the point. There are a couple of beach restaurants that can be a little pricey. Chairs and an umbrella are $20. It is super relaxing... 更多
If you want to have a great time disconnected from the crowds you must visit. Pinel Island is located just off the end of cul the sac and they have boats going back and forth from 10am to 4pm. On arrival you dock on the yellow beach side but make sure you get to the Karibuni side where thy have... 更多
Dinning with the Swaliga 2 and the Iguanas was nice. Beach had alot of people ( some topless and some families with children). Beach was clean and water was nice.
I discovered Pinel Island while searching for things to do in St. Maarten/St. Martin and at first was a little weary after reading you had to take a ferry to the island. Even though everything I read said it was a 5 minute ride, I was thinking it was much further away than it really is. The ride over was... 更多
If you are in Saint Martin and have a day off to spare do not hesitate to spend it in Pinel Island, it is really worthy, you take a little boat-ferry in Cul de Sac and get there in 5 minutes, to spend a day there snorkeling, having a delicious lunch and just relaxing is a must, the place is... 更多
We picked this spot in St Maarten as a part of a 7 day Caribbean cruise (only 1 day in St Maarten). We couldn't have picked a better spot! Fantastic service at the Yellow Beach restaurant (reserved lounge chairs ahead of time for our party of 14 and got front row on the sand). Perfect spot to relax - calm,... 更多
Love the calmness of this little retreat! The warm shallow water offers nice snorkeling. The island offers good food and drink with beach chair/umbrella rental, but comes at a cost. We brought a soft cooler of bottled water and beer to keep the cost down. This is a special treat day!
This is an amazing day trip. You need to go there in the morning to make the best of it, but it is one of the best spots in St. Maarten. Great food, idillic setting, and a feeling of being far far away from the rest of the world make it a spectacular place to spend the day. And if... 更多
During our one week stay in St-Martin, we heard Pinel was a great place to do some "free" snorkelling and sunbathing. It was easy to get to Cul-De-Sac and take the ferry. The only foreseeable problem is that the ferry "operators" decide whether they will leave, depending on the amount of people that are waiting to go. It is a... 更多
