This museum has many different artefacts and features things like mummies of the Ilhanli rulers of the area. It was very well presented and a pleasure to explore.
Great little museum, really nicely layed out. The mummies made me feel a little sad, there are small children mummies and mummified parts of small children in the collection, and this is the first time that I've seen bodies or body parts layed out in an exhibition rather than in an excavation. If you only have one day in Amasya you should visit the museum which is 100m away form the main street. Wonderful mummies there!
One of the smallest museums i've visited. can easily tour the whole thing in 15 minutes, unless you take the time to look at every single display carefully. the most interesting exhibit were the mummies. kind of exciting to see so many mummies at such a small museum.
