While visiting Palm Island, we sailed over to Happy Island. Very interesting place with a great history. Drinks prices are reasonable, very strong, but good. The whole (tiny) island is the bar. A must see for a once in a life time experience.
Our sailing cruise had us stop here for about 2 hours. The drinks were great! It was also very entertaining to watch the kitesurfers. Definitely ask about the history of the island!!
A self-made island from lambis! There is a pictures about it inside the bar, worth to check them out. Has a loud music, many strong cocktails, a spectacular scenery and the whole tiny island is in the middle of a natural harbour. Not much to see, but a drink or two in the sunset was really worth it.
You can go by boat from Union Island which is five minutes away, or you can go kiting. There's just one bar at the island and that's it. If you like cocktails and reggae you won't want to miss this place.
During a trip organised by the world famous Captain Harris we visited Happy Island and had a Rum Punch and a Pinacolada. Surrounded by water and with a water level views of the kite surfers this was a great place for a sundowner. A bit of fun and check out the history.
It is such a tourist place but also very fun and sunsets from there are amazing. It is very authentic looking place. The owner build it himself and he is there every day pouring drinks and playing awesome music. We took sailing trip and stopped there on the way back. I suggest stopping there to have a drink.
A trip to the Grenadines is not complete without making at least a quick stop at Happy Island. The drinks were plentiful, the music was loud and bumpin, and the kitesurfing was entertaining. Not sure this is a place where you want to take your children unless they are accustomed to the typical Caribbean and sailing drunkards during anytime of... 更多
All I can really say about the awesome Happy Island is that you just HAVE to visit here if you're staying locally, if only to say you've been here. I was most excited about going here on our recent holiday to nearby Palm Island. It was my husband's birthday but our first day there so this was a perfect mini-trip... 更多
So we headed off in the dinghy to what 10 years ago was a pile of conch shells. Now, due to the drive and determination of our host, a cool bar at the edge of the reef. Very strong rum punch and spontaneous karaoke- what more could you want as the sun goes down?
