Drove 2 hours from Raipur and the only plus was the drive, thanks to the weather.
1. Temple remains closed between 12 and 4 pm. But they allowed us to enter.
2. Very ordinary structure, not worth this long a drive.
3. Food available but between 1130 pm and 1 pm.
4. No Photography allowed, not even in the premises....
Good place. The temple is closed for visitors between 12 - 4 pm during summers due to heat. However the management is soft on long distance visitors and may allow in for darshan. They have rooms in dharmahala both AC and non AC.
Sacred Jain temple at Nagpura located around 16 kms from Durg. The foot-prints of saint Tirthankara Parshwanathare placed in a special shrine on the right hand side of the main temple, so that it usually is the first object of worship. Within the Jain community, the temple complex at Nagpura is also known as Shri Uwasaggaharam Parshwa Shrine.
