Visitors to downtown Whitehorse can park and ride the beautifully restored, bright, yellow 1925 Waterfront Trolley. The trolley departs northbound from Rotary Peace Park, across from the S.S. Klondike, and southbound from Spook Creek Station. Passengers are welcome to disembark and re-board along the route at the various stations. This interpretive ride describes the Whitehorse waterfront’s fascinating history including the stories about the W.P. & Y.R. line and the mighty stern-wheelers that plied the Yukon River.

The two young ladies operating the trolley did a great job of answering all our questions on the various buildings and sights we were passing. Would have preferred the trolley to not spend so much time waiting at all the various stops. Too many time points meant that we spent almost as much time sitting on the trolley as riding... 更多

We happened to be at the Farmer's Market and having walked were going to take the Trolley back to the other end of the river walk where our car was parked. To our delight, it was free on Thursdays due to the Farmer's Market. The driver was great fun !

If you are a rail-buff and collect rare miles [If you are -you know what I am referring to] this is your only chance to get WP&Y miles in Whitehorse. The narrow gage [36"] trolley is actually a transplant from Portugal and tows its own power source. Trip is plus or minus 3 km R/T on back side of downtown... 更多

Thought it would be fun to take the kids on the trolley ride. It was free for our kids, $5 one way or $10 return for adults. Bit of a slow ride, took about 50 minutes for the round trip. Also there are seats but they are quite close together so there's limited leg room. Kids enjoyed it but I... 更多

Took the 2 km trip. You can get off and on at specific spots. Good fun and value. Trips run every half hour with 5 minutes between stops. Lots of notice when they are coming down the track. Free on Thursday after 3:00PM as it is market day at shipwreck park.

There is a lovely boardwalk along the river as well as the trolley. I took an all day pass for 5$ which allowed me to get on and off. The staff are very knowledgeable. Seating is limited. Children who were on board appeared to enjoy the experience.

This authentic turn of the century trolley travels the Whitehorse waterfront. It allows you to get off and back on at stops along the way. Since the town grew up along the waterfront, you can visit most attractions via the trolley. Park your car near the trolley and spend the day riding it to various attractions, shopping, and dining.

Informative Whitehorse city talk aboard a restored Klondike-era trolley. Very affordable and enjoyable. Very friendly conductor. You can hop off at different stops.

This about a 1 hour tour. The train is slow and the conductor talks about the the town and trolley between stops. It wasn't bad, it was just ok.

It was very neat to ride a 93 year old trolley. It only cost us a couple of bucks each, which was a great deal. (I think it is regularly $5 per person round trip.) There were costumed guides, but they didn't say very much. (I think they were still training, though.) it is a neat diversion and fun way... 更多
