There is a sence of tranquillity when you walk the trails, but I have never liked the admission price. I understand there are galleries as well, but I just like the trails. Sometimes there are trails closed, but they do not tell you that when you pay. That is a bit of a rip off too.
Visited on unseasonably cold evening in October adding to the bleakness of the place so probably not at its best. Most of this spacious place is taken up by a shop selling all sorts of first nation items including baby mocassins for 50 dollars and a couple of rooms of art. Not sure what they do with the rest of... 更多
This past summer I took a couple visitors from Germany to Wanuskewin after not visiting for years. I was totally let down and wasn't sure what I paid for. Years ago I'd gone numerous times, taking visitors from all other the world. There was a great interactive display, information and demonstrations on carbon dating finds, etc. Now there is only... 更多
Spent a few hours on the trails outside, exploring the area. Beautiful views, breathtaking scenery, and an afternoon of exercise and fresh air. I came back to the Centre to find a powwow dance demonstration in progress. The dancer was interesting, well-spoken, funny, and engaging. Overall, I'd highly recommend visiting for anyone who enjoys hiking and cultural activities.
We went to hike the fantastic trails, had a great time doing so, then we had a lovely lunch, spent quality time checking out the museum, and spent an hour watching dancing - well worth a visit.
Although there may not be much to see within the building the trails are wonderful and worth the walk. Great valley views and views of Saskatoon. Unfortunately my kids missed out on learning a little about the teepees as the staff was too busy talking on her phone. Very disappointed. Entrance staff provided not information other then provide us with... 更多
A quick look at the exhibits and a walk down the trails is all there is to do here. Wish they had active archaeological digs, that would make the trip worthwhile.
Visited with my father and had a lovely time there. Absolutely loved the scenery over the river! Great place to learn about the bison hunt!
