Really enjoyed the lake in my old boat. Never too far from shore, and calm waters to ride in, as the lake is narrow but long. The park itself was very quiet, but this was mid-September. I was tenting in an electrified spot, as I couldn't find the less expensive non-electrified areas, but the spot was superb. With the understanding... 更多
There is a pretty cool walking trail in the marsh area on floating docks but it is quite the drive. There is also a area where you can see the buffalo but they were sadly quite far away. The camping is average. I didn't notice a lot of signs for hiking or biking trails but you could see some of... 更多
Didn't expect much and were only going to stay one night but this place was so beautiful that we stayed two nights just to get another look around. Bathrooms were spotless and free showers. Pool was great and our campsite was semi private and backed onto a very large hill that when climbed, afforded a beautiful view of the valley... 更多
I camp a lot and this is one of the worst I've been at. Usually most provincial parks are nice, but not this one. Run down facilities. 1960's style fire stoves. Who has these anymore? Run down outhouse with toilets half the height of normal ones. A big hole in the side of the women's. Small and very unlevel camp... 更多
We wanted to fish, but there was no place for it off boat. The water is a bit slimy, but all-in-all it was very pretty there and there is a pool for swimming. We didn't stay long.
good place to go with family and friends, they have showers ,playgrounds, free firewood etc.it is not far from the lake in most of the camp sites, they have a store that sells most of the things that you need if you forget to bring them with you.
Unfortunately we were only able to spend an overnight at this most lonely and remote provincial park that sits along one side of Buffalo Pound Lake. Don't be confused by the various 'campgrounds' listed within the park, they are merely loops within the park. We stayed in Maple Vale loop. Most sites were pull-off with no backing up required, all... 更多
We've been on the road camping for about two months now making our way across Canada. This was probably one of the worst places we stayed in either of the three western provinces. Firstly, the outhouses for the non-serviced sites were filthy and splattered with feces. There didn't seem to be any attendants cleaning them and they were in worse... 更多
We like to bring our 2 year old several times a year to play, have lunch, and go for a swim. It's highly disappointing upon arrival when their "snack shack" isn't open!!! We have relied on that for lunch more than once and surprise surprise... They are not open!!!! So frustrating
