Restaurants, art galleries, book stores, boutiques, mature tree-lined streets, historical businesses and houses. Surrounded by history with the best shops/restaurants. This is the must see neighbourhood for visitors and the coolest place to live.
My daughter took me. I HAD NO IDEA, and I'm from the area! Unique stores and restaurants galore. Home of one of Canada's world renouned distilleries with a strong history and museum, right on the shores of the Detroit River where great views have been preserved. Stroll - just stroll and enjoy. Food, art, food and concepts for young people.... 更多
I live close by so I'm a bit partial. Lots of fun places to try. My fave? Kildare House. Go see Vinnie, Dan or Jack at the bar. They rock. Walkerville Tavern, Wineology, Walkerville Eatery, Twisted Apron, Walkerville Brewery, Vito's and Lorelei's are all fabulous. Fun festivals, weekend markets. Walkerville has it all. Welcome!
A great neighbourhood that has gone under many changes in the last few years. It has become a fun place to shop and dine. A few more artsy shops would fit in and draw more out to the area to compliment the fabulous restaurants and drinking establishments. Do not hesitate to visit the Walkerville area rich in history and some... 更多
Hello I resently visited Old Walkerville and loved the endless restaurants and attractions. We ate at the Twisted Apron, great food and atmosphere. Then we stopped by the brewery and sampled some of our finest beer, lager, and others. I would advise anyone to stop and experience Old Walkerville. Thank you
Some of our personal favourites include The Willistead, The Walkerville, Wineology, F&B Walkerville, The Twisted Apron, Ceilidh Maritime Pub, Lorelei's Bistro. We avoid Vito's Pizzeria because of the poor service as well as the attitude of the owner and staff. If your not a regular, you might as well reconsider this choice.
Old Walkerville is a historical Neighbourhood of Windsor, ON. It was build by Hirum Walker, who started a Whisky club in ON. We visited 2 places there: Brewery and Canadian Whisky club. Both top attraction if in the area.
This area has really made a comeback, lots of restaurants bars and even a brewery to visit. Great Spot with Friends and couples to go and have a night out with adults
There's so much to see, do, shop and eat at some of the finest places you can encounter! From old businesses to new ones, you can't go wrong if you visit these interesting stores, very unique boutiques and outstanding restaurants in the area. You have beautiful handmade goods, jewelry, from local artists and vendors such as Shop Eco (which relocated... 更多
