I was in Toronto for a few days and read about this Museum and so just dropped by hoping the Curator would be free and we could go round. It was and the Curator Richard Feltoe gave me and my Cousin a very informative and interesting tour of the Museum. I would love to come back to an open day.
The security guard was quite friendly. The curator is knowledgeable and has an incredible sense of humour when he explained how the factory works and the historical development of sugar. This museum also happens to have quite a few information about the history of Canada because the founder of the factory contributed a lot to the development of Canada. Well... 更多
I had my Grade 7-9 class in here. This place is interesting. Please don't go through without a tour guide though! That adds so much more. He told us stories, gave us hands on experience, explained the sugar making process very well, gladly answered our oodles of questions..... all in all, he was just great.
The museum is actually part of a sugar manufacturing plant. The fact is, you cannot tell if there is a curator or the security guard was the curator. People there was rude and aggressive.
