I was really excited to attend mass at St Michael's Cathedral this morning. Unfortunately the renovations are still going on in the inside, so there was scaffolding covering the beautiful stained glass at the front of the church. It was such a beautiful day outside, and if they could have opened the some windows ( I am assuming they can... 更多

St Michaels Cathedral is a very beatifull cathedral and worth a visit if you are around. It is also nice to hear about the histories related to the cathedral.

I love this old church, St. Michael is like being in Italy. It gives you the same feeling, peace and tranquility. Many of the Saints contain relics and prayers. I hope once it's fully restored they will add more prayers and perhaps an area to buy prayer books, and Saint cards.

Closed at the moment for renovations but we walked outside and around the grounds, it's stunning and so well preserved. Can't wait to go back and visit when it reopens

When we went there in May there was major construction and all of the benches were removed and temporally replace with chairs. Overall nice look.

This is a beautiful Church. We did not go inside, and were only in Toronto for the Day, but it was certainly worth the drive from Buffalo to see a Canadian city. Toronto like many large cities has much to do, but make sure its the on season and many things are shut down unless its a weekend or special... 更多

在Downtown的住宿

周围地区详细资料
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
