We saw Sweet Charity a matinee performance. It was very entertaining musical and a good choice for our foreign guests who do not always understand the text. During the intermission we had a chance to enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Really enjoyed this musical. Great music. The play is quite dated but if you like Neil Simon you will still enjoy it. Older people might want to avoid balcony seats since there are stairs. The seats were very uncomfortable for my 6ft husband.
We are sorry to hear that your husband found the seats uncomfortable but are so glad that you enjoyed Sweet... 更多
With a script by Neil Simon and Bob Fosse as original director my friend and I looked forward to this production with much anticipation. What a disappointment. Julie Martell was miscast as Charity with mediocre vocal ability and virtually no dance skills; she set the tone for the play. Actors like Kimberley Rapersaud with a lovely voice and edgy, professional... 更多
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the performance. 更多
My wife and I attended a performance of Sweet Charity. The staging, choreography, singing, and dancing were outstanding. The Neil Simon book however, was full of kitsch and one liners and it seemed to exist only to provide a venue for the songs and dance numbers. On the other hand, The Lady From the Lake, adapted from the Ibsen play,... 更多

Saw Sweet Charity. Was nice, light, full of nice scenes and talented singers. My favorite scene was Kyle Blair (Oscar) dancing at The Rhythm of Life.

This was a great performance at the Shaw Couthouse Theatre . It was about two hours long but seemed like one because it totally captured your attention .
Not a bad seat in the house; been here many times over the years and I really enjoy the headline plays presented here. Especially nice during an afternoon play when you can go outside on the terrace during intermission.
We are so glad that you continue to come visit us at The Shaw and that you enjoy the productions... 更多
Love the productions at Shaw; always a great experience; they have introduced me to plays far from interst level, and yet came away raving about…well, everything. Sweet Charity was enjoyable, not my favourite by any imagination, but a rewarding two and a half hours. Julie Martell as Charity really carried the show, but with a huge assit from Ken MacDonald... 更多

The show was very well done with beautiful costumes great acting and singing. We had great seats bit in th back middle of orchestra, not the most expensive but great view
We went to Niagara on the Lake this past weekend and while we were there, saw the theater production of Sweet Charity. We were a group of 6 women, and all of us thought that the theater was cold. We were very glad we chose not to check our coats as we wore them throughout the production, and at intermission,... 更多

Don't miss the brilliant talent, beautiful staging and brilliant work of George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. Seeing plays at this venue has been a life changing experience for me.
