Splashpad is really good. a really nice relaxing place! great view of the church and food options are great.
We went to Market Square on the 21st of June to celebrate our heritage and they had the splash pad for the kids and plenty of room for the native dancers, they also had vendors set up with gifts and food. This is the second year and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Visited briefly. It has a big public fountain for kids and adults to walk around it. You won't get wet, most of it is just a 3-inch deep pool. The restaurants across the street are decent and it's right in town.
To me, it just doesn't make sense to have a kids splash pad right downtown. Downtown is for adults, in my opinion, not half naked kids running around at a splash pad. Save that for the parks? A piazza type atmosphere, in my personal opinion, would have been better and way less expensive for taxpayers to maintain. Carmen Street is... 更多
This square features a lovely man-made water fountain and in the winter it becomes an ice surface for outdoor skating, skate rentals, shops for coffee, hot chocolate, candy, French baking and several upscale restaurants. We shopped with our Guelph friends at the (farmers') market, had lunch and walked around the downtown area until it started to rain. We were lucky to be there for the Jazz Festival and enjoyed the music in the background while having a late lunch. We drove (because of the heavy rain) to McCrae House museum, which was very interesting.
