I haven't been to Crystal Beach since I was a teenager, and wanted to take my kids to see what's changed (a lot!). Unless you belong to one of the three private beach clubs/yacht clubs on the bay, this town is pretty strange. More than half of the buildings on the Main Street are empty and for sale. Still love taking the kids here. No charge public beach. Except parking. This year they have 2 parking sections. When you first come down the Rd in grassed area. 1st to come up to, farther from beach enterance is $6.00. 2nd grass parking closer to beach enterance is $10.00. Asked about cooking food. everything was so good except the following points 1) the adress provided on the website is different, had to call them to get the write address 2) the parking is for $10 not $5 ($5 is the hour) 3) washrooms were closed at 7pm without even a written notice anywhere as well as the showers outside was with no water... 更多
Had not been back since I was a kid at the old amusement park. Took my family and it is too bad the park is not there anymore. However the beach is beautiful and it is a quaint little area. Family had a good day and will not hesitate to visit again.
