Wonderful way to see the Halifax Harbour from the water - since it is part of their public transit system, the ferry fare was very reasonable and great way to get from Halifax to Dartmouth
A very cheap way to get a view back to Halifax harbour from the sea. Dartmouth doesn't have much when you get there but the ferries run very frequently so you can return when you want.
Starting in Dartmouth - terminal is very clean, open and organized. Ferry boarding very easy and accessible. This a fun little ship that makes the crossing in ten to fifteen minutes. It is a very economical way to have a quick look at the waterfronts of both Halifax and Dartmouth.
