The ferry is cheap and easy and arrives right at the boardwalk in Halifax.
Great night or day. The view of Halifax can't be beat. At night the city shines like a jewel.

The terminal is located on the boardwalk and costs $2.50. The staff here are really helpful and you get to take in the great views of Halifax. You definitely need to be on the upper deck and just enjoy the trip.
Dartmouth has a lot to offer and the ferry is a great (inexpensive) fun way to check out both sides. Great views...

If you take the car to get to the ferry...
