After several attempts to attend hockey games/basketball games we realized that this was not a place to go to find comfortable seating. Very few venues are open for basketball, and there is no room in the seats. You are touching elbows with the people beside you, your needs ( and I have short legs) are pulled up in front of... 更多
I have been to a couple of events here, and found the facility to be a decent one. I enjoyed myself, but parking was a bit of an issue.
Those orange chairs were ugly and uncomfortable. They helped to breathe new life into a 35+ year old arena. Since we're not getting a new one anytime soon, anything they can do to spruce it up is great. But, sorry, it'll still always be the Metro Centre to me.
Have attended many sporting events at Scotiabank Centre. Great sightlines from any lower bowl seats (lower bowl seats 5,500, upper bowl 4,500). High in upper bowl not so great but generally good seats are available. Hockey and basketball are great events to see. Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) entertaining and family-oriented for on- and off-ice activity, Haven't seen Halifax Hurricanes (NBL) basketball.... 更多
We always have fun checking out a game, concert or show at the scotiabank centre. It's the perfect size building for Halifax and located right in the heart of downtown. Lots of new renovations including new seats and upgraded food service make it better.
Loved the atmosphere here. Attended the CIS Hockey Championships here. Some of the Quarter-final games only required the lower bowl, so they kept it more intimate, then opened it up for the big crowd for the final match. They did a great job of keeping the crowd hyped with great contests, videos on the big screens, music that caught the... 更多
Yes, the new seats are more comfortable, the cup holders are very much welcomed, and even the new bathrooms on the lower level are nice. But I do much higher hopes for the new food services. It is still very lousy service despite the new venues. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to order some food/drink item... 更多
We attended a concert here. The stage is at one end of the arena and it is difficult to view the concert without turning towards the stage, but the seating is so tight that it can be quite painful for those of us with long legs jamming into the seat in front of us.
