As many of the reviews have indicated this is the burial sight of most of the bodies recovered after the Titanic tragedy. While a guide can be most helpful on a visit such as this I would also suggest a visit first to the very informative Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. This gives an overview and detailed explanation of Canada's... 更多
We saw this as part of the Halifax delux city tour. Because we had a guide we were given helpful information. I'm not sure I would have appreciated it on my own.
This is definitely worth a visit if you're in Halifax. I saw that some reviews suggested going with a tour guide. We went on our own, but we went to the Maritime Museum first, which was also helpful in giving info about some of the graves here. We knew nothing about Halifax's connection to the Titanic before visiting the city,... 更多
The site is very moving. I liked it best with a guide as they can tell the stories of the people buried there. If you didn't have a guide would just have 1 sign and the plots to see. The stories make it all worthwhile.

It sounds a bit morbid and you need a car to access this cemetery but if you want to take 20 minutes and visit the graves it will help bring a bit of the Titanic disaster to life. Visit the Maritime Museum before and see the Titanic exhibition of stories and artifacts. Be prepared to have a few bus tours... 更多
If you interested in the Titanic,Its a another moving piece of the mystery of this famous ship. Sad to read the headstone inscriptions and also sad to see that the white star line was only prepared to pay for very rudimentary ones. Well worth a visit for sure.
