I find some farmers markets disappointing as some of the goods are obviously bought from from a warehouse. IT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE. This was good, must have been to make me part with my money. Some of the sellers I knew to be genuine from a previous visit to the area. Bought wine, honey and chocolate. Well worth... 更多
For ten dollars you get a little salad a small piece of bread and ten dollars in coupons for you to spend at the few outlets serving. We were there at the last hour and perhaps the choices were less but there was not much to choose from. Our party had vegetable pakoras which was very dry and vegetable samosas... 更多
Lots of local vendors selling prepared food, but the only food safe for a vegetarian when we visited on a Wednesday afternoon was pizza and a Thai stir fry. If you like schnitzel, sausage, rich pastries, meat pies, etc., this is a nice market. We bought some homemade apple cider.
Such a fantastic market full of local fresh produce displayed in an old world market-y type of way. My husband found wonderful treasures for the girls as their gifts are unique and beautiful. We wandered around for almost an hour just enjoying the ambience of this market. I'm glad we stopped in. There are several markets along this road and... 更多
My wife is a connoisseur of farmers' markets and she says that this is one of the best she has been to. At 10am on a Saturday it was bustling with visitors and all the stalls were occupied with everything from local fruit and veg, bakery products, meat and fish to handcrafts and wine and spirit tasting. There are several... 更多
I was surprised (and a touch disappointed) to find that this market has more prepared food and crafts than produce, but I very much enjoyed it nonetheless. I was blown away by the deliciousness of the offerings at the Moroccan food stand. That chicken pastilla (think that's what they called it) was one of the best things I had on... 更多
Stopped at the farmers market on Saturday morning. We were not really looking to make any purchases but just seeing whAt was available. And there were lots of different things. It was busy with thoughts as well as locals purchasing fruits and vegetables.
Predominantly indoors this is a relatively small farmers market with as much emphasis on hand crafted things such as soap, baked goods, and even liquor. It is still a great community gathering spot on Saturday mornings and makes you feel like a local.
This is a nice little market with several local artisan food / wine / jewelry etc producers as well as a couple of musicians. Everyone was very friendly, the products did look very tempting - certainly a good way to spend an hour or so on a Saturday morning !
