Shelburne museum is the worst of the 3 museums in Shelburne.Save some money and just visit the other two attractions in the area. There was very little to see in this museum.I was very disappointed with what I saw here.I will not be going back to this attraction when I go back to Shelburne.I would go to the house and... 更多

The Shelburne Museum is worth spending some time in. They have done an excellent job preserving the history of the area and the building is well maintained. There is a great tax free gift shop that carries crafts from local artisans. Take the time to visit Dock St. When in Shelburne
The Dory Shop (reviewed separately), Shelburne County Museum and Ross Thomson House are linked a a ticket you can buy for all 3 and they are also only a short distance apart. All have quite different emphasis but all very well dome with some wonderful and interesting staff.

The museum has many small display areas of historical interest, including rug hooking (with wonderful pieces on display), black loyalist settlement, shipping and other naval records of the Shelburne port. It's a small... 更多
If you're staying in Shelburne, this will fill an afternoon. Actually very well done, all put together by local folks, we assume. Walking the waterfront and exploring the boats is quite interesting.

Well- preserved and displayed. The introduction by the attendant could have benn briefer and less complex, but the interest of the presenter was clear. Impressed by the... 更多
