We came here specifically to see the caribou monument for the Newfoundland regiment, and we were not disappointed. The park is beautifully maintained, and there are a variety of walking paths.
I have been here many times and it's my go to place fo get my walk in . In the summer the grounds are really beautiful , lots of flower beds and so pretty around the pond. This has been a favorite in St John's for so many years and has lots of history .
We went to see the Caribou Statue and only realized how large the park was once we arrived. A beautiful park with lovely flowerbeds, monuments, ducks to feed, etc. We did not have time to explore the trails or the splash pad and other attractions listed on the map inside the park. Research what the park has to offer before... 更多
I loved this park. It is quite large with many trails as well as several other things to see. You can see the locally famous ducks, the Beaumont Hamel statue, or even go to the small water park area. Obviously best in the summer around July-August is best.
This was such a beautiful park! They even had the old water troughs still there. It was a quaint, beautiful park but the statue of Peter Pan was the best thing! The swans on the pond were also beautiful.
I walked this park several times with a local walking group and its beautiful there is a wide verity of statues and monuments its a lovely spot the parks are lovely and accessible for everyone
There's something for everyone. Especially children. Walking trail through the park and woodlands. There's a playground and water splashpool and attractions. Lots of spaces for picnics. You could play lawn bowling. Duck pools.
